Abby C. l Youth Development Manager
Abby worked at the Kroc in college for 3 years, while studying to get my degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Youth & Training. She has worked at a variety of different non-profits between her times of service at the Kroc. In Abby’s free time, she loves exercising and spending time with her pets. Abby is most looking forward to forming relationships with the kids, and working with some of the staff that were previous youth members. A fun fact about Abby, her favorite movie is Ratatouille!

The Kroc Center is committed to building a strong community, and that starts with educating the adults of tomorrow. The Kroc’s programs combine developmental learning, mentorship, team building and more in a fun atmosphere where teens will feel comfortable learning, being active and making new friends.
Youth Development Program Highlights
KAST (Kroc Academy for Successful Teens)
The KAST (Kroc Academy for Successful Teens) program is designed to engage, equip, and educate young adults as they enter adulthood. Through this program, they will be given the resources, tools, and support for success in all areas of their lives. Each month will carry a combination of weekly lessons, challenges, and games to teach and promote social skills. Mentorship is always provided to help teens excel academically, athletically, and/or creatively. Incentives are also provided monthly to ensure and reward consistency and commitment to the program. The purpose of KAST is to create a space for youth to help develop their gifts and talents. Ages 11-17
Tournament Tuesdays in the Loft
Once a month, we will be holding a tournament day in the Loft. These tournaments will vary from table games to video games. The games will be played similar to a bracket style. Top winners will receive a prize! See the Loft for details
Activity Extravaganza
Every other Thursday we will be holding a guided activity in the Loft led by staff, starting in February. See the Loft schedule for details.
