Hatchlings Basketball: November 6th-November 22nd
Hatchlings is a great way to introduce the basic elements and proper technique through experienced coaching to those just starting their basketball journey! This program consists of 3 weeks and has 6 different sessions. Each week will consist of basketball activities working on ball handling skills and a competitive game.
Ballet, Choreography, and Composition 1: September 5th-October 26th
4 Ballet conditioning and technique development classes for ages 7-11. Students will learn proper alignment at barre, movement sequences (combinations), and proper muscle usage. Skill building focuses include cultivating balance and flexibility, learning turns, and completing jumps. The choreography & composition workshop will take place during the second half of each class session Students will watch videos of famous ballets, learn about choreographers, and work on creative ideas with peers. Students will collaborate in the studio to make their own dance performance. They will additionally have the opportunity to focus on learning an excerpt from classical ballet repertoire.
Adult Swim Lessons: October 3rd-October 24th
This class is perfect for adults with little to no experience in the water. Participants will learn beginner swim strokes and water safety skills in a supportive environment. In this class, participants will be introduced to rhythmic breathing, floats, front crawl, elementary backstroke, and treading water.
KAST (Kroc Academy for Successful Teens): September 6th-December 20th
The KAST (Kroc Academy for Successful Teens) program is designed to engage and educate young adults as they enter into adulthood. Through this program, they will be given the resources, tools, and support for success in all areas of their lives. Each month will carry a combination of weekly lessons, challenges, and games to teach and promote social skills. Mentorship is always provided to help teens excel academically, athletically, and/or creatively. Incentives are also provided monthly to ensure and reward consistency and commitment to the program.
